James Petersen (Jim) is a seasoned real estate broker with a service-driven approach as an agent for the AskSarita Team powered by PLACE at Keller Williams Sunset Corridor. Licensed as a Principal Broker in Oregon and a Managing Broker in Washington, Jim has extensive experience handling and advising on complex real estate transactions across both states.

In addition to his transaction expertise, Jim has been an active educator in the real estate community, focusing on agent training and development. He serves on the Grievance Committee at the Portland Metropolitan Association of Realtors (PMAR), addressing ethics and conduct matters. Jim’s passion for helping clients and agents navigate the complexities of real estate is also reflected in his own production as a licensed broker in Oregon and Washington.

Before transitioning to real estate, Jim's career was in aviation and logistics, with leadership roles in in-flight management at a major airline and cargo operations for a Seattle-based logistics firm. This service-oriented background has honed his skills in operations, problem-solving, and team leadership.
